August 04, 2017 05:23 PM

For the second weekend in a row, Highway 169 is closing for paving. The northbound lanes will close between Highway 7 in St. Louis Park and Highway 55 in Golden Valley starting at 7 p.m. Friday. It will be a brief shutdown as the lanes reopen by noon on Saturday.

The southbound lanes will begin closing at noon Saturday and will remain closed until 5 a.m. Monday. Drivers can use either Interstate 494 or Highway 100. Learn more about the project.

There's good and bad news about Highway 110 in the southeast metro. The eastbound side is expected to reopen from I-35E in Mendota to I-494 in Inver Grove Heights sometime this weekend. Starting early Monday morning, crews will close the westbound lanes until September. The Minnesota Department of Transportation is hoping to get the lanes open in time for the new school year. Learn more about the project.
