The Anoka County Sheriff's Department has identified the person killed in a three-vehicle crash Monday night in Ham Lake.

A release from the department said Victor John Karanja Ndau, 21 of Blaine, was killed in the collision, which occurred around 8:02 p.m. at Lexington Avenue and 143rd Lake Northeast.

The release stated it appears the 2005 Ford Taurus being driven by Ndau was traveling southbound on Lexington Avenue when it collided head-on with a 2008 Pontiac Torrent. The driver of the Torrent, 38-year-old Danielle Lynne Eakman of Ham Lake, and her two children, Westin Charles Ledeen, 8, and Cierra Nicole Ledeen, 11, were transported to Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids.

According to the release, Eakman was listed in serious, but stable condition. The male child was transferred to Minneapolis Children's Hospital in serious condition. The female child had only minor injuries.

The driver of another vehicle, which was northbound on Lexington and struck the other vehicles in the roadway, was unhurt, the release said. He was identified as Keith Michael Anderson, 53 of Ham Lake.
