WATCH 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS Morning for the latest traffic updates.
It was a foggy start to the Thursday morning commute as temperatures remained in the 30s and moisture from Wednesday's rain-snow mix lingered in the air.
Here's a look at traffic incidents KSTP Traffic Reporter Josie Smith was following Thursday morning:
A crash occurred around 7 a.m. in the left lane on eastbound Interstate 494 near Highway 100. Meanwhile, a crash occurred at around the same time on westbound Interstate 94 near Dale Street. Those crashes cleared about 40 minutes later.

KSTP Chief Morning Meteorologist Ken Barlow said the early morning fog was expected to lift, making way for a mostly cloudy day.
Looking ahead, rain is expected Friday afternoon and snow is expected to return overnight Friday into Saturday.
