Authorities were near American Boulevard Station Thursday morning where a vehicle was on the light rail tracks.
According to KSTP Traffic Reporter Josie Smith, authorities were in the area of 34th Avenue, north of Interstate 494, in Bloomington.

Metro Transit reported Blue Line trains were delayed near the station and that trains were running every 10 minutes from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport's Terminal 2 to Target Field. However, officials said to expect significant delays between the Mall of America and Terminal 2.

Metro Transit then issued an update, stating the vehicle was cleared from the tracks and that there could be some continued delays.
UPDATE: The car has been cleared from the tracks near American Boulevard Station. Blue Line trains are moving in both directions! Expect some continuing delays as we work to get back on schedule.
