KSTP Traffic Round-Up: Metro Area Drivers Hit a Few Slick Spots

A few slick spots in the metro area created issues for drivers Monday morning.


KSTP Traffic Reporter Josie Smith said a crash occurred along southbound Interstate 35W near 4th Street in Minneapolis.

Smith also said a crash in the right and center lanes forced traffic to slow down on southbound I-35W past 46th Street.

Meanwhile, another vehicle hit a slick spot on southbound Interstate 35E near Cayuga Street.

Additionally, a vehicle rollover happened at the end of the ramp from 46th Street to southbound I-35W in south Minneapolis.

Another rollover occurred on southbound I-35E near County Road J, with the driver crashing into a fence.

Looking ahead, Smith reminded drivers of road closures that will affect those in south Minneapolis. On Friday, the 38th Street bridge will close until August and the 36th Street ramp to southbound I-35W will close until 2021.
