Those who will be traveling through the state and to the airport as part of their holiday plans are expected to have relatively clear roads.
KSTP Chief Morning Meteorologist Ken Barlow said although bitter cold and strong winds are likely, there aren't significant snowfalls in the forecast Friday and this weekend to majorly affect winter travel.
During the Friday morning commute, traffic was moving easily without significant delays. Later Friday morning, the Minnesota Department of Transportation reported flour was spilled on the left lanes of westbound Interstate 494 and advised drivers to use caution.

Looking ahead, Barlow said there is the possibility of some light snow early next week but that accumulation is expected to be minimal.
