Crews worked Friday to repair the sinkhole and began to remove barriers early Saturday morning.

After the road reopens, detour routes will see less traffic. Those include westbound Interstate 94 to northbound I-35E, as well as westbound Highway 36 to I-35E and southbound I-94.
