Northbound Highway 169 Reopens in New Hope

Traffic returned to normal on northbound U.S. Highway 169 after a serious vehicle collision, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

The highway reopened after 10:30 p.m. Wednesday evening.

The collision occurred around 5 p.m. between 49th Avenue North and Bass Lake Road, according to MnDOT.

According to MnDOT, the incident involves a semi trailer.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported an initial collision took place, injuring one seriously. Several other crashes occurred after the original crash.
