If you're spending Father's Day weekend in southern Minnesota, there are some construction changes to watch for along Interstate 90. The road continues to be reduced to one lane in both directions between Sherburn and Fairmont. Earlier this week, the ramps from I-90 westbound to Welcome closed.

Later this month, the eastbound ramps to Highway 15 in Fairmont will also be unavailable, while the westbound ramps are set to reopen. The work is part of a resurfacing project that continues into August. Learn more.

Don't forget about the ongoing lane closures along Interstate 35 near Highway 14 in Owatonna. Traffic is currently sharing the northbound lanes, resulting in a head-to-head configuration. This project is particularly tough for motorists because there are no nearby alternatives to help folks get around delays. The bridge replacement project will continue until fall and resume in 2018. Learn more.
