The 36-year-old motorcyclist killed in a crash on Highway 13 in Prior Lake Thursday night has been identified.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Andre Rory Caine, of Lakeville, was heading southbound on Highway 13 at about 4:45 p.m. when the driver of a Ford F150 traveling northbound—identified as 18-year old Benjamin Jacob Provost, of Prior Lake—was attempting to turn onto 150th Street.

As the Ford turned on a flashing yellow signal, it was struck broadside on the passenger side by Caine on his Suzuki motorcycle.

Caine was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said. Provost was not hurt in the crash.

The incident closed a portion of the highway for a period of time Thursday night.
