Metro Transit reports Blue Line trains are up and running after they were "significantly delayed" from the Mall of America to Terminal 2 due to mechanical issues Wednesday afternoon.

The delay lasted more than three hours.

Metro Transit said riders could experience up to 15 minute delays north of Terminal 2 at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.

This comes a few hours after a brief shutdown of Blue Line trains at the Mall of America Wednesday due to a suspicious package near MOA.

Bloomington police say the scene was cleared.
