Drivers will find a couple of new work zones northwest of the Twin Cities this weekend. Lane closures went into place earlier this week along Highway 169 between Garrison and Aitkin.

Crews are in the process of resurfacing nearly 16 miles of roadway along Highway 169. According to the Minnesota Department of Transportation, motorists can expect single lane traffic in both directions from sunrise to sunset, seven days a week, through July 21. Learn more about the project.

A resurfacing and bridge project is underway on Interstate 94 between Garfield and Evansville. All traffic has been re-routed to the westbound side of I-94. There is only one lane open in both directions. In better news, all ramps between Garfield and Evansville remain open. Learn more about the project.
