A 33-year-old man was killed when his vehicle rolled over Sunday in Douglas County, trapping him inside.

A release from the Douglas County Sheriff's Department said Mitchell Jay Brazel was found dead when authorities responded to a report of a rollover at the T-intersection of County Road 25 and Elk Lake Road around 8 p.m. Sunday.

The release states preliminary investigation indicates the 2003 GMC Yukon that Brazel was driving had been headed east on Elk Lake Road and did not complete the turn on to County Road 25. It went off an embankment and into a tree at the bottom of the ditch.

The incident remains under investigation.
