15-Year-Old Pedestrian Dies after Being Struck in St. Louis Park Intersection

A 15-year-old pedestrian died after being struck at a St. Louis Park intersection Thursday night.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, an Acura MDX driven by 59-year-old Donald Frederick Noak, of Minnetonka, was traveling westbound on Highway 7 just after 6 p.m.


After passing through the intersection of Texas Avenue during a green light, the Acura struck a pedestrian in the left lane. The pedestrian, who was pushed into eastbound traffic, hit a 2001 BMW 3301, driven by 24-year-old Vance Patrick Dornisch, of Minnetonka.

Noak and Dornisch were both wearing seatbelts and did not suffer any injuries. The pedestrian, identified by the Minnesota State Patrol as 15-year-old Daunte Jamal Moore, died.

Alcohol was not a factor in the incident, according to the state patrol.

The investigation remains ongoing.
