Here are today's tech bytes for Thursday, May 18, 2017:

There's a showdown set to take place on your iPhone: Users now have access to Google Assistant. That means Google's app will go head-to-head against Siri. Experts say Siri is easier to access but Google Assistant may provide more suggestions.

McDonald's is expanding its McDelivery service partnership with UberEats: People in Chicago, Columbus, Los Angeles and Phoenix can now get their Big Macs and fries delivered. McDelivery first launched in cities across Florida.

Here's something that might make it easier to carry your phone and a cup of coffee: It's apparently a phone case that can brew espresso. The makers are raising funds on Kickstarter. The case is said to fit Apple and Android devices.
