Wolves Shootaround: Facing the Warriors, the West Playoff Race and the Addition of Derrick Rose

The Minnesota Timberwolves had media availability following their Saturday morning shootaround at Mayo Clinic Square.

Head coach Tom Thibodeau spoke about how tough the Warriors are to play, even without Steph Curry. He also touched on what Derrick Rose will bring to the team and why he decided to sign the veteran guard.

Forward Taj Gibson discussed how different the Western Conference is compared to the Eastern Conference. He also talked about how important it is for the Timberwolves to win and not rely on any other teams to beat other Western playoff contenders.

Newly-signed guard Derrick Rose talked about his excitement to be on a team again, his familiarity with Thibodeau, his health, and how he can contribute to the Timberwolves.
