Wild to Host Five Game Homestand Starting Thursday Night

February 12, 2018 10:00 AM

The Minnesota Wild began a five-game homestand with the Arizona Coyotes on Thursday night. They'll have to play without the services of defenseman Jonas Brodin, who is likely out 3-4 weeks with a broken left hand. Brodin had successful surgery on Wednesday. The Wild will lean on young defensemen Mike Reilly and Gustav Olofsson.

Entering Thursday night, the Wild were tied for the 7th seed in the Western Conference playoff race. They have 29 games remaining in the regular season.

The Wild are 18-4-4 at home this season.
