Wild Will Lean on Stalock in Net

The Wild will be without goalie Devan Dubnyk this weekend when the team faces Toronto, Edmonton and Chicago. He's week-to-week with a knee injury.

Wild head coach Bruce Boudreau has the utmost confidence in back-up goalie Alex Stalock. Stalock has won his last two starts and is getting more confident between the pipes.


" The guys are rallying around me and I like where my game is at right now. I just need to stay the course and play the way I'm capable of playing," said Stalock Thursday morning.

On the flip side, progress is being made by Wild forward Zach Parise (back). He skated with the team on Thursday morning along with defenseman Jared Spurgeon (lower-body injury). Spurgeon should be available to play within the week. Parise seems to be weeks away from his return.
