Wild Practice Outdoors in St. Louis Park

The Minnesota Wild left the cozy confines of Xcel Energy Center to practice outdoors in St. Louis Park on Sunday.

The Wild skated at St. Louis Park's Recreation Outdoor Center. The workout was free and open to the public. It was a bit chilly, so players dressed the part. The Wild were coming off a 3-0 win against Chicago on Saturday, so that also helped fight the cold temperatures.

"It was fun," defenseman Matt Dumba said. "You see the smiles on the kids' faces. It's awesome. That's why we're here. That's why we play the game."

The Wild host the New York Rangers on Tuesday night.
