Screening Drills a Heavy Emphasis During Wild's Tuesday Practice

April 18, 2017 02:01 PM

After a day away from the rink for a mental break, the Wild were back on the practice ice on Tuesday morning. KSTP Sports was there, as Wild coach Bruce Boudreau juggled his lines. Forwards Mikko Koivu and Mikael Granlund didn't skate together for the first time since late November.

Forward Erik Haula was given another day to get fully healed up for Wednesday's Game 4, so he didn't practice.

The Wild spent a good portion of the practice working on screening-the-goalie drills, something they need to do more of to score on St. Louis' Jake Allen. The Wild were the second-highest scoring team in the NHL in the regular season, but only have three goals in three games vs. the Blues.
