Aside from a long scoring drive on their first possession of the game, the Rams were shutout.

They only gained 254 yards - well off their league-leading average of 388.9 yards, were held to just seven points (average = 32.9) and converted just three of 11 third down tries - a statistic they also came in as league leaders.

With the game tied 7-7 at halftime, the Vikings defense rose to the occasion in the second half.  The Rams four meaningful drives in the second half went for five, three, five and three plays.  They did make a long, insignificant drive in the closing minutes.
