Vikings WR Stefon Diggs Spreads Holiday Cheer at U of M Children's Hospital

Dante Johnston was surprised on Tuesday morning by one of the most popular players on the Minnesota Vikings in Stefon Diggs. They connected at the U of M Masonic Children's Hospital.

Johnston, 16-years-old, will be getting chemo treatments in the near future, but on this day he was brightened by a gift from Diggs: a Century Link Boost Box. The box had all kinds of Vikings gifts in it, including a signed jersey by Diggs. Johnston said he never saw this coming.

"When I first walked in the door I saw all the cameras and reporters and then I saw a guy standing on the other side of the room and I said to myself, hey, he plays for the Vikings, that's Stefon Diggs. I was so surprised it was a great feeling to have a chance to meet him," Johnston said.

As for Diggs, he's known for his charity work and visiting kids in Twin Cities hospitals.

"This is a lot of fun for me. I don't really need any cameras or people around to give me credit. I just love putting a smile on these kids faces," Diggs said.
