A fourth round pick in 2012 who played in 79-games, the Vikings released slot receiver Jarius Wright on Friday. The move will create a couple million dollars of cap space.

Wright caught 18 passes for 198 yards and two touchdowns in 2017.

The six-year veteran took a pay cut last year to remain with the Vikings.
