Kicker Kai Forbath is back with the Vikings, a source tells KSTP Sports. It's a 1-year deal, worth around $800,000.

Forbath took over the Vikings' kicking duties from Blair Walsh November 2016, and in 2017 he made 32 of 38 field goal attempts and 34 of 39 extra point attempts.

While the Vikings have interest in re-signing free-agents OL Joe Berger, CB Terence Newman, CB Marcus Sherels, and DT Shamar Stephen, Forbath is the first to be retained.
