December 14, 2017 01:24 AM

Last Saturday, Hurt and his John Marshall teammates played in the Breakdown Tip-Off Classic at Hopkins.  Facing Lakeville South, Hurt piled up 46 points.

Not to be outdone, four days later he put up 48 against Red Wing with Kentucky's John Calipari and North Carolina's Roy Williams in attendance.

Calipari must have been impressed, as he issued Hurt a scholarship offer less than 24 hours later.

Hurt's older brother Michael is presently a sophomore with the Minnesota Gophers.
