Tuesday night, the Minnesota Timberwolves host the Houston Rockets are probably the Wolves' toughest test so far in a home win streak that's grown to 13 games.

The high-flying Rockets arrive averaging 114.1 points per game, which ranks second in the NBA.  They arrive at Target Center riding an 8-game win streak of their own.

Back on December 16th, Portland visited Target Center and won.  The Wolves haven't lose a home game in te 59 days since.

A win over Houston Tuesday night would match the 2nd-longest home win streak in franchise history (12/16/03 – 2/6/04).  The Wolves record is the 17-game home win streak from January to March in 2003.

Wolves rookie Justin Patton was also at Tuesday morning's shootaround.  After missing the first month-and-a-half of the season with a foot injury, he's been brought along slowly through his recovery playing for the Wolves' G-League affiliate in Iowa. He's been under a playing-time restriction that has him averaging 20.1 minutes per game. He's averaging 1.9 points, 5 rebounds and 1.4 blocks in 25 games in Des Moines.

Patton was a first-round selection (16th overall) by the Chicago Bulls in last summer's draft, but was traded to the Timberwolves along with Jimmy Butler in a draft night deal.
