After cutting their roster down to 53 men on Saturday, the Vikings made several roster moves Sunday, including claiming former Gopher MarQueis Gray.

Gray, a former University of Minnesota star, was cut by the Cleveland Browns on Saturday. The Vikings claimed the tight end off waivers.

The Vikings also claimed tackle Mike Harris off waivers. He has started games for San Diego the last two years. He can play both left and right tackle.

To make room for Gray and Harris, the Vikings released linebacker Larry Dean and offensive lineman Austin Wentworth. Wentworth is a candidate for the practice squad.

The Vikings also signed multiple players to the practice squad on Sunday:

  • Joe Banyard - RB
  • Kain Colter - WR
  • Isame Faciane - DT
  • Chase Ford - TE
  • Donte Foster - WR
  • Kendall James - CB
  • Zac Kerin - C
  • Mike Remmers - T
  • Justin Trattou - DE
