The Minnesota Gophers may have been slow to start, but they ramped things up in a hurry on the way to a 45-20 rout of Eastern Illinois in the 2014 season opener at TCF Bank Stadium.

Leidner discussed the nerves that affected him early in the game, and some of the big plays that helped turn the game around.

Edwards mentioned the feeling of scoring his first collegiate touchdowns, while Murray and Johnson explained how the Gophers defense kept the team in the game while the offense needed some time to get on track.
