Rosemount played like a team on a mission beating rival Eastview in a big way 41-6 in high school football on Thursday night. Rosemount scored on its first possession of the game when Jackson Erdman connected with Tyler Hardigan on a 45-yard touchdown pass making it 7-0 Rosemount. Erdman finished with three touchdown passes on the night.
Rosemount also got it done on the ground thanks to Dimitri Williams -- he had two touchdowns rushing. Williams also returned a kick for a touchdown.
Eastview struggled to get any kind of offense going as quarterback Cole McDevitt was sacked three times and the offense only crossed the 50-yard-line once all game.
Rosemount lost to Eden Prairie in the state championship game last year.
