Cricket Gaining Popularity in Twin Cities

Created: 07/09/2014 9:56 AM KSTP.com

Soccer is the most popular sport in the world, and this might be hard to believe, but cricket is the second most popular.

The sport is growing in the Twin Cities, especially at Bryn Mawr Park in Minneapolis where the Minnesota Cricket Association holds many of their matches.  There are more than 30 teams part of the league, which started in 1976 with just one team.

The game is like baseball, except very different, but for the people who play it, it's the best.
