Down, but not out.

Coming off back-to-back losses in the first two games of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, the Minnesota Wild are looking to change the momentum in its series against the Colorado Avalanche at home.

Monday's game at Xcel Energy Center will be especially telling, as the team went 26-10-5 at home during the regular season. For fans, the team is hosted a pre-game party outside the Xcel at 4 p.m.

They have $3 beer, music and a photo booth before the game starts at 6 p.m. outside of Gate 2 near the intersection of Kellogg Boulevard and West 7th Street.

Tickets to the game at 6 p.m. were still available as of Monday afternoon.

Minnesota has not lacked hustle against Colorado, but the team has been unable to answer scoring opportunities.

Head Coach Mike Yeo said after Saturday's loss that the team needs to change the momentum of the series.

"It's more of a challenge when you're on the road," Yeo said. "So, obviously, coming back home I think we should get excited about that opportunity to play in front of our fans. Our building is going to be rocking."

Another pre-game party is happening Thursday before Game 4, starting at 5 p.m.
