The Vikings opened free agency signing former New York Giants defensive tackle Linval Joseph.
The move, first reported by Fox Sports, came about an hour and a half into the NFL free agency window which opened Tuesday afternoon.
ESPN later reported the terms are 5-years, $31.5-million.
The 25-year-old nose tackle appeared in 46 games for the Giants over the last three seasons as he played through his rookie contract.
Joseph is a big run-stopper, measuring 6-foot-4-inches and 325 pounds.
It appears Joseph should take the place of Kevin Williams, who is now a free agent.
