After the teams traded goals early, Eden Prairie struck twice in the third providing the winning margin over Andover in the opening round of the Class AA State Girls Hockey Tournament.
Charly Dahlquist's goal 1:40 into the third was her second of the game and the eventual game-winner for the Eagles with Kate Rydland scoring late for some indurance.
Scoreless through one, Andover's Sierra Langlie opened the scoring. Abbie Turpin added the Huskies second goal later in the period.
Eden Prairie responded to both Andover tallies, getting second period goals from Crystalyn Hengler and Dahlquist.
Whitney Padget stopped 15 Andover shots to earn the win for Eden Prairie.
The Eagles advance to the Class AA Semifinal on Friday night. They'll face Hill-Murray.
