Freshman guard Kendrick Nunn hit five 3-pointers and led Illinois with 19 points as the last-place Illini beat Minnesota 62-49 on Wednesday night, putting a damper on the Gophers' hopes for an at-large NCAA Tournament bid. The Gophers are now 6-8 in the Big Ten with remaining home games against Iowa and Penn State and road games at Ohio State (Saturday) and Michigan.

KSTP spoke with coach Richard Pitino and players Dre Mathieu and Elliott Eliason following the game. Click the video box above to hear from them.
