Como Park and Benilde St. Margaret's Win Soccer State Championships

St. Paul Como Park claimed the school's first ever team state championship with a 2-1 win over Hill-Murray in the Class-1A boys' state soccer championship game. Benilde-St. Margaret's defeated Blake 1-0 in the 1A girls' state title match.

Thor Will and Seik Seik scored Como Park's two goals. Como Park led 2-0 until Jack Blaney scored Hill-Murray's only goal of the match.

Aleksa Tataryn of Benilde-St. Margaret's scored the only goal of the match in the girls' title game. It is the Red Knights' second straight state championship.
