Hopeful Gophers Fans Head South to Cheer on the Team

We’re just hours away from a showdown in Texas.

The Gophers are taking on the Bruins playing the last game of the first round for the NCAA Tournament.
     
Friday morning some gopher fans were catching flights to Austin, Texas to cheer on their team.

66 teams will have played before the Gopher's take the court against the UCLA Bruins.
    
The Gophers held a private and public practice Thursday to get loosened up before Friday's match-up.
    
The team is hoping the long wait won't slow them down on the court.
