Minnetonka Wins 3rd Straight Class 2A Girls' Hockey Title

Minnetonka beat Hill-Murray Saturday night to win their 3rd straight Class 2A Girls' State Hockey Championship...

The Skippers are the first school to ever 3-peat at the Girls' Hockey Tournament.   Darby Flatley, Amy Peterson and Laura Bowman scored Minnetonka's goals.  Sophomore Jessica Bonfe scored Hill-Murray's only goal.

The championship win came just one night after Minnetonka beat Lakeville North in a record six overtimes in their state semifinal game at the Xcel Energy Center.
