City of St. Paul Finalizes Lowertown Ballpark Contract

The City of St. Paul has finalized a contract for the Saints new ballpark in Lowertown.

Ryan Companies was announced as a builder last month. The design-build contract will be executed in two parts.

Ryan Companies will complete the first part of the contract at a cost of $1.72 million. Once the design process is complete, the second part of the contract will be executed. This will finalize the final construction cost.

The company proposed a $3.48 million budget for the project.

Construction is set to start in the fall of this year, and the ballpark is set to open in spring of 2015.
