Timberwolves: Surgery a Success for Kevin Love
The Minnesota Timberwolves say Kevin Love's Tuesday morning hand surgery was successful.
Love had his third and fourth metacarpal repaired in New York by Dr. Michelle Carson at the Hospital for Special Surgery.
The two-time All-Star power forward broke the bones during the Jan. 3 game at Denver, a recurrence of the injury he suffered first doing knuckle push-ups Oct. 17 at home.
Love is expected to be sidelined for eight to 10 weeks.
