Hill-Murray, St. Thomas Academy Compete in Schwan Cup Tournament

The Schwan Cup Hockey Tournament championship game is tonight.

Hill-Murray will take on St. Thomas Academy at Ridder Arena on the University of Minnesota campus tonight at 8 p.m.

St. Thomas Academy shut out Breck 2-0 Thursday night in the semi-finals. Breck will play Burnsville tonight at 6 p.m. for third place at the National Sports Center in Blaine.

The boys’ tournament started Wednesday and the girls’ tournament started Thursday. The girls’ championship game is Saturday.

Boys and girls high school teams play in the tournament as well as youth teams. There were 176 teams playing 264 games this past week.
