Gopher football fans have a chance to show off their pets and their school spirit this season.
The University of Minnesota Veterinary Medical Center is hosting a “Pet of the Game” photo contest on Facebook. Community members are encouraged to send in pictures of their pets displaying Gopher spirit.
Fans can use an app to vote for their favorite pet during each home football game. The winners will be featured at U of M football games throughout the season and get a $150 VMC gift card.
