EmailSource: Vikings Made Effort For Demps
A source tells KSTP sports that the Vikings did check in on running back Jeff Demps' status. However, they were never seriously considered.
According to ESPN, Demps is expected to sign with the Patriots Friday afternoon.
Demps went undrafted in April as he was preparing for the London Olympics. He was part of the 400-meter relay team that won a silver medal.
He ran for six touchdowns at the University of Florida last year. He played in every game.
