St Thomas' Langer Named D-III Women's Basketball Player of the Year

St Thomas senior Kaitlin Langer is the 2017 NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Player of the Year, selected by D3Hoops.com.

Langer led the Tommies to an undefeated regular season.  They kept their perfect record all the way up to the National D-III Semifinals, where they lost to Tufts despite a 20-point, 20-rebound effort from Langer.

Langer's Player of the Year campaign saw her average 19.3 points and 8.8 rebounds per game. She scored in double figures in 28 games over the course of her career.

She is the second Tommie to earn the National Player of the Year Award, joining Laurie Trow Kelly.

Langer is a native of Stillwater, and graduated from Hill-Murray High school.
