St. Michael-Albertville Boys Hockey Reacts to Making First Ever State Tourney

The St. Michael-Albertville boys hockey team is going to the state tournament for the first time in school history. They beat top-seed Moorhead on Wednesday night in Bemidji, 6-5 for the 8AA championship.

KSTP Sports caught up with the Knights on Thursday.

The Knights carry a 12-game winning streak into the state tourney next week. They are on the borderline for a seed, but can stake claim to wins over Moorhead, Hermantown, and Maple Grove, along with a tough schedule that featured Edina, Eden Prairie, and Holy Family.
