Sara Groenewegen pitched a two-hit shutout as the Gophers softball team won their second straight Big Ten Tournament by beating Ohio State 6-0 Saturday night.

Groenewegen struck out 12 batters and became the Gophers all-time leader in strikeouts. Sydney Dwyer hit a two-run homer in the fifth inning. It was her third home run of the day. Dwyer hit two, including a walk-off homer, in their semifinal win over Illinois.


The Gophers enter the NCAA Tournament with 25 straight wins and a 54-3 record. The NCAA Tournament selection show is Sunday night.
