Wild Defenseman Ryan Suter Reviews His Major Surgery With Joe Schmit

Minnesota Wild defenseman Ryan Suter sat down with KSTP sports director Joe Schmit on Tuesday afternoon.

Suter injured his right ankle on March 31 against the Dallas Stars when he went hard into the boards. He had surgery on April 5 and will miss the postseason. 

Suter talked about how he is doing, the severity of his injury, how much he wishes he could be with the team, how much tougher his dad was than him, and how he sees the Wild faring in the playoffs.

The Wild face the Winnipeg Jets in the first-round of the NHL Playoffs starting Wednesday night in Winnipeg.
