Reed Agrees to 2-Year Contract With Twins

Right-handed reliever Addison Reed has agreed to a two-year contract worth just under $17 million with the Minnesota Twins, a source confirms to KSTP's Darren Wolfson.

Reed, 29, has spent time with the White Sox, Red Sox, Mets and Diamondbacks during his 7-year major league career. He had 19 saves, 15 holds and posted a 2.84 ERA in 77 appearances last season with the Red Sox and Mets. Reed had a career high 40 saves with the White Sox in 2013.
