Asked Thursday morning is there is a memory from his time with the Wild he holds onto, Pominville cited the playoff runs the team was able to make - as well as great experiences with both his teammates and Minnesota fans .

Pominville scored 76 goals and 130 assists in 327 games over four-plus seasons in Minnesota. After scoring 30 goals in his first Wild campaign in 2013-14, Pominville struggled to recapture his scoring touch.

He was traded along with Marco Scandella to Buffalo this past offseason in exchange for Tyler Ennis and Marcus Foligno.
