Wild Morning Skate: Snapping the Losing Skid and Happy to be Home

The Minnesota Wild held a morning skate Sunday morning prior to their game against the Detroit Redwings, which is at 6 pm CT at the Xcel Energy Center.

The Wild are coming off two road loses to the Phoenix Coyotes and the Colorado Avalanche. The two-game skid comes off the heels of a five-game winning streak.

However, Minnesota play much better at home than on the road, and are happy to be back in the Twin Cities.

Head Coach Bruce Boudreau, defenseman Jared Spurgeon and goalie Devan Dubnyk spoke with the media following morning skate. They all echoed that the Wild have to play better on the road, as well as keep up their play at home.

The Wild are currently tied for fourth with 79 points in the Western Conference.
