The Minnesota Vikings announced that linebacker Kentrell Brothers has been suspended without pay for the first four games of the 2018 regular season for violating the NFL policy on performance-enhancing substances.

Brothers is mainly used on special teams. He had 13 tackles last season. Brothers was a fifth round draft pick out of Missouri in 2015.
Brothers will be eligible to return to the Vikings' active roster on Friday, September 28 following the team’s September 27 game against the Los Angeles Rams. He can practice with the team in the offseason and can play in all of the Vikings' preseason games.
